Created in 2006, SASMO is one of the largest Math Olympiad competitions in Asia. More than 400,000 students had participated in the competition from 42 countries and territories. The SASMO Team with the support of Advisory Council spend countless hours carefully developing contest papers which touch on both school and Olympiad maths. This combined essort allows participants to do better compared to pure-Olympiad papers, since they are familiar with some questions and can put on their thinking caps for others, bringing out the inner mathematician in them.
With realistic and high standards, SASMO contests aim to stretch the untapped thinking potential of the student population, their participation in SASMO will help them improve in school mathematics as well as higher order thinking skills (HOTS).
Grade 1 to Grade 6 (Primary 1 to Primary 6)
Grade 7 to Grade 10 (Secondary 1 to Secondary 4)
Grade 11/12 (JC 1/2)
You can register for SASMO as a private candidate at page registration.
The SASMO contest for private candidates will be held online. We will send an online contest pass and instructions manual as the date approaches so do lookout for an email from us.
The SASMO results will be released 2 weeks after the last singapore contest data.
