Who We Are

The International Junior Honour Society (IJHS) is an honour society that focuses on developing leaders and enabling its members to achieve success in academic and life pursuits. IJHS provides its members with a variety of platforms and opportunities to unleash their full potential, as well as connect to their community. Unlike most honour societies, IJHS offers free membership to its members.

IJHS is fully funded by Scholastic Trust Singapore (STS), a non-profit foundation, and supported by a prominent volunteer board of advisors to help guide bright young leaders. The STS Board of Advisors is made up of influential leaders from academia and industries to help open doors for our young leaders.

Global Student Leadership Council (GSLC)

The GSLC is an executive student-led committee whose aim is to strengthen relations of IJHS SLCs around the world, to facilitate sharing of resources, expertise, leverage strengths, increase collaboration, so that IJHS Fellows can maximize national development of their countries.

IJHS Student Leadership Councils (SLC)

Our objective is to set-up IJHS SLCs in each country where SIMCC contests are hosted, so that we can maximize opportunities for our members with the ultimate goal to uplift their lives. IJHS SLCs in each country will create CSPs, DIPs, and many other opportunities for their members and give them more leadership opportunities to shine and contribute to their local and global communities.

Board of Advisors (BoA)

STS has a prominent and powerful Board of Advisors who truly practice “Leaders Give, Givers Get”. That is why, even as a small group from a tiny red dot, Singapore, we have been able to grow so rapidly and give so much to the world. It is because we have many noble educators who globally support us in uplifting lives through education. Through IJHS and YALA, we will create even more leaders who believe that “Leaders Give, Givers Get”!
